The experiment consisted of four dates of sowing viz., D1: 25 standard week (18-24 June), D2: 26 standard week (25June01July), D3: 27 standard week (02-08 July), and D4: 28 standard week (9-15 July) and three hybrids viz. Bio-9681, Prabal and PEHM-2 was laid out in split plot design with three replications. Seed Cotton Equivalent Yield and Sustainable Yield Index of Cotton as Influenced by Intercropping, Weed Control and Fertility Management Practices

Saoji  Professor of Agronomy and Director of Farm, Central Research Station, Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Akola (MS). Two years field experiment was carried out at the Agronomy Research Farm, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola (MS) during kharif 2007-08 and 2008-09 with an object to study the effect of intercropping, weed control and fertility management practices on seed cotton yield, seed cotton equivalent yield and sustainable yield index. Results indicated that the treatment of cotton + pigeonpea significantly resulted in recording greater seed cotton yield and seed cotton equivalent yield in pooled analysis. College research farm, Bichpuri, Agra.The results revealed that length of spike, no. of fertile spike lets, No. of grains per spike weight of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight decreased significantly with every delay in sowing date, while these characters dominated in case of genotype NW. Influence of Intercropping, Weed Control and Fertility Management Practices on Stalk Yield, Biological Yield and Harvest Index of Cotton
