DR is covered under Prameja Timira in Ayurvedic concepts. Taking this concept into consideration an Open randomized control study was conducted with an aim to study DR and Pramehaja Timira conceptually and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the holistic Ayurvedic approach in Background Diabetic Retinopathy/BDR.
