Library and Information Science Abstract (LISA) 2001 to 2014 as the base, which included 11176 abstracts of articles contributed 8462 authors. Lotka‟s law could apply in its original form as inverse square law in all the cases but a not fit was found in fourteen cases with different value of n. It is concluded that the value of n is found to be lower in Information Technology because the number of authors contributing two or more articles are less & higher in this fields.

Student, Dept. of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India Kesar Chayal  Assistant Professor, Dept. of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India The present study was an attempt to investigate the preference of information sources by agriculture farmers. Study was conducted in Jaipur district of Rajasthan. 75 respondents were selected through random sampling method for the study and personal interview technique was used for data collection. Data related to information source used by the farmers revealed that mobile phone was the most preferred source by the farmers (70.66%).
