महिलाओं के प ्रति बढ़ते अपराधों ने उनकी स्वतन्त्रता का हनन कर

उनके सामाजिक एवं आर्थि क विकास को अवरूद्ध कर दिया है। दिन प ्रतिदिन

बढ़ते अपराधों ने खा ैफ का वातावरण तैयार कर दिया ह ै। लचर कानून व्यवस्था

ने अपराधियों के हौसलो को ब ुलन्द कर दिया है। पुरूष प ्रधान सामज मंे

महिलाओं की स्थिति दयनीय बनकर रह गयी ह ै। शारीरिक एवं मानसिक रूप

से पीड़ित महिलाओं का े अपने अधिकारों के लिये लड़ना पड़ रहा है। एकल

परिवार के कारण भी घरेलू महिला हि ंसक अपराध बढें़ ह ै। सामाजिक एव ं

नैतिक मूल्यों के पतन ने महिला अपराध का े और अधिक बढ़ावा दिया ह ै।

सहया ेग की भावना समाप्त हा ेती जा रही हैं, जिससे आपराधिक घटना के

समय का ेई बचाने के उद्देश्य से सहया ेग नही कर पा रहा ह ै। यद्यपि महिला

साक्षरता मंे व ृद्धि हुई ह ै, परन्तु महिलाओं के प्रति अपराध कम नहीं ह ुए हंै।

गरीबी एवं बेरा ेजगारी ने भी महिलाओ ं के प्रति अपराधों में व ृद्धि की ह ै। रोजगार

के कारण न जाने कितनी महिलाओं का शारीरिक एवं मानसिक शोषण किया

जाता ह ै। दह ेज हत्या जैसा दानव आज भी हमारे समाज में विद्यमान है,

जिसके कारण प ्रतिवर्ष सैकड़ा ें महिलाओं का े जलने पर मजब ूर कर दिया जाता

ह ै। बलात्कार, या ैन उत्पीड़न तथा मानव तश्करी इत्यादि कलंकित अपराध

समाज का े खा ेखला कर रह े हैं।

          Increasing crimes against women have infringed on their freedom and blocked their social and economic development. Increasing crimes day by day has created an atmosphere of fear. The poor law and order system has boosted the spirits of criminals. The position of women has become pathetic in the male dominated society. Physically and mentally afflicted women have to fight for their rights. Domestic female violent crimes also increase due to single family. The decline of social and moral values has given a further boost to female crime. The spirit of cooperation is ending, due to which no one is able to cooperate for the purpose of saving at the time of criminal incident. Although there has been an increase in female literacy, crimes against women have not decreased. Poverty and unemployment have also increased crimes against women. How many women are physically and mentally abused due to employment. A demon like dowry death still exists in our society, due to which hundreds of women are forced to burn every year. Stigmatized crimes like rape, sexual harassment and human trafficking are hollowing out the society.
