Abstract

 आज जब नई शिक्षा नीति तैयार की जा रही ह ै तो मूल्या ें की शिक्षा
की आवश्यकता को नकारा नहीं जाना चाहिए। भारत में मूल्या ें की शिक्षा के
विमर्श की वैदिक काल से ही समृद्ध परम्परा रही ह ै। कमी ह ै ता े विमर्श  को
स्कूली शिक्षा में ठीक से लागू करना। चह्वाण समिति ने सत्य, धर्म (सही
आचरण), शान्ति, प्रेम, अहिंसा का े मूल्य शिक्षा में व ैश्विक आधार बिंदु माना ह ै।
सभी पन्थों म ें इनकी स्वीकार्यता रही ह ै। मूल्या ें की शिक्षा एक विषय के रूप म ें
नहीं देकर सम्प ूर्ण माध्यमिक शिक्षा का ध्येय ही संस्कारा ें का निर्मा ण हो। अच्छे
शिक्षक ही अपने व्यवहार से बच्चा ें में अच्छे संस्कार प ैदा कर सकते ह ै ं। स ंस्कार
उत्पन्न करने में भाषा का बहुत महत्त्व होता ह ै। वर्तमान भारत में अंग्र ेजी माध्यम
विद्यालया ें का अनावश्यक प्रसार चिन्ता का विषय है। शिक्षा सभ्य एवं सुसंस्‟त
समाज की आधारशिला है, शिक्षा के अभाव में इसकी कल्पना ही नहीं की जा
सकती ह ै। शिक्षा के माध्यम से व्यक्ति में बा ैद्धिक जागृति होती ह ै और इसके
द्वारा वह नवीन सांस्‟तिक मूल्यों की रचना करता ह ै। शिक्षा के द्वारा ही संस्‟
ति विकासा ेन्मुख होती ह ै। शिक्षा जीवन की राह प्रशस्त करती ह ै, जीवन का
मार्ग दिखाती है आ ैर जीवन को सुखद बनाती ह ै। शिक्षा के द्वारा मानव ब ुराई
से अच्र्छाइ  की ओर, हीनता से उच्चता की आ ेर, असंभव से संभव की ओर,
हिंसा से अहिंसा की आ ेर, पशुता से मनुष्यता की आ ेर ले जाने का मार्ग प्रशस्त
करती ह ै। यही जीवन मूल्य ह ै, यही संस्‟ति ह ै, जिसका निर्मा ण शिक्षा से हा ेता
ह ै। ’’का ेई भी देश अपनी भाषा - संस्‟ति की उपेक्षा करके उन्नति नहीं कर
सकता’’

Today when the new education policy is being formulated, the need for education of values should not be denied. There has been a rich tradition of education of values in India since the Vedic period. If there is a shortage, then the discussion should be implemented properly in school education. The Chavan Committee considers truth, religion (right conduct), peace, love, non-violence to be the global foothold in value education. They have been accepted in all the pages. By giving education of values not as a subject, the aim of complete secondary education should be to create rites. Only good teachers can inculcate good values in children by their behavior. Language is very important in creating rites. Unnecessary proliferation of English medium schools in present India is a matter of concern. Education is the cornerstone of a civilized and cultured society, it cannot be imagined in the absence of education. Through education there is intellectual awakening in the person and through this he creates new cultural values. Culture is development oriented only through education. Education paves the way to life, shows the way of life and makes life enjoyable. Through education, humans lead the way from evil to good, from inferiority to highness, from impossible to possible, from violence to non-violence, from animalism to mankind. This is the value of life, this is the culture, which is formed by education. "No country can progress by neglecting its language and culture."
