Abstract

 जैज़्ा संगीत का प ्रया ेग भारतीय फिल्म जगत काफी पहले से होना
प ्रारम्भ हो गया था। वर्तमान में भारत में प ्रचलित संगीत में कई पाश्चात्य
श ैलियों का मिश्रण किया जा रहा ह ै जिसमें जैज़ संगीत लोकपि ्रय ह ै। 50 से
60 तक के दशक में जैज़्ा का रूप काफी हद तक पारम्परिक था लेकिन अब
इसमें बह ुत परिवर्तन आ चुका ह ै। वर्तमान में जा े जैज़ संगीत प ्रचलन मे ं ह ै वह
अलग मूड पर आधारित जैज़्ा संगीत ह ै। यह विविध भावों एवम् नृत्य का े
सहजता से अभिव्यक्त करने में समर्थ  है। बीसवीं सदी में जैज़्ा और भारतीय
शास्त्रीय संगीत के साथ सम्मिश्रण से एक नये रूप प्दव.श्रं्र्र श ैली का उद्भव
ह ुआ। स्वाधीनता संग्राम के समय लगभग सभी पंचसितारा होटलों एवम् सभी
र्नाइ ट क्लबों में यह संगीत प ्रस्तुत किया गया।

Jazz music has been used in the Indian film world for a long time. Currently, popular music in India blends various western styles, among which Jazz is quite prominent. During the 1950s and 1960s, the form of Jazz used was largely traditional, but presently this is much different. At present, the form of Jazz in use is based on a different mood and can easily express various moods and dance. A new form, Indo-Jazz, emerged during the 20th century by blending Jazz and Indian Classical music. During the freedom movement, this was presented in almost all five-star hotels and night clubs
