Abstract       

 The present study deals with two independent case studies of two personalities of Gujjar community of Jammu division, Dr. Mohd Ramzan and Mr. Mohd Bashir. The study talks about their life story from struggle days to success and how they brought pride to the Gujjar community. Dr. Mohd Ramzan, who is the first Doctorate of Gujjar community of Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu). The other personality, Mohd Bashir, who is an orphan since the age of seven years worked hard not only for himself but for his younger siblings and today is an Accounts officer. The study reveals social impact of society around them and the external factors responsible for their success in life. It is basically the analysis of social constraints, human interaction and sources available which contributed in shaping their personalities and helped them grow as a person, ultimately inspiring so many individuals and I being one of them.
