                                                   Abstract

 प्रो. सुधीकान्त भारद्वाज ’कल्प’ विरचित ’परशुरामोदयम्’ महाकाव्य
संस्कृत भाषा का नवीनतम महाकाव्य ह ै। भारद्वाज इन्टरनेशनल पब्लिसर्ज, नई
दिल्ली से प्रकाशित 17 सर्गी य ’परश ुरामा ेदयम्’ महाकाव्य 1504 श्ला ेकों म ें
निबद्ध है, जिसमें ऋचीक ऋषि से लेकर भगवान् विष्ण ु के सा ेलहवें अवतार
परश ुराम के जन्म तक की कथावस्तु मिलती ह ै। प्राचीन महाकाव्य परम्परानुसार
कविवर कल्प ने उक्त महाकाव्य क े प्रत्येक सर्ग के अन्तिम पद्य में अग्रिम सर्ग में
प्रयुक्त होने वाले छन्द का परिचय दिया ह ै। प्रस्तुत महाकाव्य में कुल बारह
छन्दा ें का प्रया ेग किया गया ह ै। महाकाव्य में अनुष्टुप, इन्द्रवज ्रा, उपेन्द्रवज ्रा,
उपजाति, वंशस्थ, मन्दाक्रान्ता, वसन्ततिलका, शार्दूलविक्रीड़ित, शिखरिणी,
भुजङ ्गप्रयात, शालिनी व रथोद्धता छन्दों को प्रयुक्त किया ह

Prof. Sudhikant Bhardwaj 'Kalpa' Virichit 'Parashuramodayam' epic is the latest epic in Sanskrit language. The 17-page 'Parashuramodayam' epic published from Bhardwaj International Publications, New Delhi, is set in 1504 verses, which contain narratives ranging from the sage Rishi to the birth of Parashurama, the sixteenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to the ancient epic tradition, the poet Kalp has introduced the verses used in the advance canto in the last verse of each canto of the said epic. A total of twelve verses are used in the presented epic. In the epic, Anushtupa, Indravajra, Upendravajra, Upajati, Vansastha, Mandakranta, Vasantatilaka, Shardulwikrishta, Shikharini, Bhujangaprayat, Shalini and Rathodhata verses are used.
