                                                   Abstract

 महिला विकास सामाजिक विकास की पूर्व शर्त है: महिला सृष्टि की रचनाकार
ह ै । एक महिला क े विकास क े बिना समाज का विकास संभव नही ं है।
भारतीय महिला विकास को समझने क े लिए महिलाओं की वैदिककालीन स्थिति
का े समझना आवश्यक ह ै। व ैदिककाल महिला विकास का स्वर्ण  काल माना
जाता ह ै। इस काल में महिला स्वतंत्रताप ूर्वक अपना जीवनयापन करती थी।
शिक्षा के क्षेत्र म ें इस समय महिलाओं का विकास चरम पर था। महिलाए ं
राजनीतिक, सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं श ैक्षणिक क्षेत्र में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भ ूमिका
निभाती थी। वैदिक साहित्य की रचना में भी महिलाओं ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका
निभाई। वेदा ें की रचना में सहया ेग करने वाली प्रमुख महिलाओं में अपाला,
विश्ववरा, शशि, लोपा मुद्रा आदि प्रमुख थी । इसके साथ ही महिला एव ं
राजनीतिक जीवन में राजाओं की सलाहकार, युद्ध में सहयोगी एव ं महान योद्धा
होती थी। सामाजिक जीवन में भी महिलाआ ें का स्थान सर्वोपरि था । कोई भी
धार्मिक कार्य महिलाओं क े बिना संभव नहीं था। महिला का े शक्ति रूप में प ूजा
जाता था । बाल-विवाह, सती-प्रथा, बलात्कार, कन्याभ्र ूण हत्या, शोषण जैसी
प्रथाआ ें का अभाव था। इस प्रकार व ैदिककाल महिला विकास का चरम काल
था । किस काल से प्र ेरणा लेकर हम आधुनिक काल में महिला विकास को
एक नवीन दिशा दे सकते ह ैं।

 Women's development is the precondition for social development: woman is the creator of the universe. Development of society is not possible without the development of a woman. To understand Indian women's development it is necessary to understand the Vedic condition of women. Vedic period is considered to be the golden period of female development. Women used to live independently during this period. At this time, the development of women in education was at a peak. Women played an important role in the political, social, economic and educational fields. Women also played an important role in the creation of Vedic literature. Among the prominent women who assisted in the creation of Vedas, Apala, Vishvavara, Shashi, Lopa Mudra, etc. were prominent. Along with this, in women and political life, kings used to be advisors, allies in war and great warriors. The place of women was also paramount in social life. No religious work was possible without women. The woman was worshiped in Shakti form. There was a lack of practices like child marriage, sati, rape, female murders, exploitation. Thus Vedic period was the peak period of female development. Taking inspiration from which period, we can give a new direction to the development of women in the modern period.
