                                                   Abstract

 वर्तमान युग नई चेतना व जाग्रति का युग ह ै। आज नारी
सशक्तिकरण की लहर हर क्षेत्र में चल रही ह ै। 21 वीं सदी की नारी शिक्षा व
समय दा ेना ें के महत्व को समझने लगी है ं। इसी जागरूकता क े कारण महिलाए ं
शिक्षण संस्थाना ें, अस्पतालों, ब ै ंको, सरकारी व गैर सरकारी कार्यालया ें, प ्रशासन,
सेना, व्यावसायिक संस्थानों, अ ंतरिक्ष, कला, साहित्य, विज्ञान, तकनीकी सभी
क्षेत्रा ें मे ं कामकाजी महिला के रूप में सक्रीय भ ूमिका निभा रही है ं। प ्रस्तुत
आलेख में भारत में कामकाजी महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण की प ्रक्रिया में तथा
आत्मनिर्भर बनने के मार्ग में सहायक व उसमें बाधक बन रहे विभिन्न कारका ें
का समीक्षात्मक अध्ययन करने का प्रयास किया गया ह ै। कामकाजी महिलाआ ें
की हालात/आलम तथा परेशानिया ें से सम्बन्धित यह अध्ययन व्यावहारिक
विश्लेषण व ऐतिहासिक पद्धतिया ें द्वारा किया गया है ं जिसमें सन्दर्भ  पुस्तकों,
पत्र-पत्रिकाओं व गूगल व ेबसाइटा ें द्वारा प ्राप्त द्वितीय स्त्रा ेता ंे का सहयोग लिया
गया ह ै ।
The present era is the era of new consciousness and awakening. Today the wave of women empowerment is going on in every field. The women of the 21st century are beginning to understand the importance of both education and time. Due to this awareness, women are playing an active role as working women in educational institutions, hospitals, banks, government and non-government offices, administration, military, commercial institutions, space, art, literature, science, technology in all fields. In the present article, an attempt has been made to critically study the various factors that are helping and hindering in the process of empowerment of working women in India and in the way of becoming self-reliant. This study related to the situation / situation and problems of working women has been done by practical analysis and historical methods, in which the help of reference books, magazines and other sources obtained from Google websites have been taken.
